Here is a John Deere 246 3 point hitch mounted planter.  It is absolutely ready for you to take to the field and plant this spring.

The row spacing is set for 30 inches and it can be adjusted from 28 inches to 40 inches. 

There are 2 sets of seed plates for corn included, one is for round kernels the other for flats.  It uses the same plate as all the older John Deere plate type planters and Lustran made a large selection of plates for it.

Everything is greased and the chains are oiled.  All turns very freely by hand.  This is a handy little planter that you can use with any tractor with category 1 or 2 hitch. 

This will be local pickup only.  The planter is 20 miles northwest of Indianapolis, IN.  This can be put in the bed of a full size pickup.

I can only accept a personal check if you pay before coming to make pickup of the planter.  A certified bank check, money order or cash will be accepted if you want to take care of payment at pickup.  Thank you for understanding.
