Here we have a reprint of a vintage Kendall Lube Chart for John Deere tractor models 50,60,70 (Row Crop and wide fronts) Dated from 1954. I also have a service and parts manual listed for same tractors, but I found that this concise 1 page poop sheet is just the cats meow and the best lube sheet I have ever seen on these tractors.
If you have a 50,60,or 70 you NEEDThis!!! Also, if you have an A B H G 520 530 620 630 720 730 and can't find a Lube Chart, this one will overlap on a lot of issues and when used in conjuntion with the parts manuals can get you close to knowing what you need to know...This chart shows you where the drain plugs are and tells you things like that... It also tells you things like the different grades used in different temperatures...nice to know on these hot South Texas days folks...Now if you are one of the few that loves their John Deere tractor so much that you need to use the 10W oil for temperatures below 32 degrees Fahrenheit, well then my hat is off to you and you have an invitation to come down here where it is warm and visit and we can drink Iced Tea and talk tractors while you get a suntan...
This chart is a direct reprint from my collection and the picture is clear and the writing and numbers are legible...You will want to keep this one and use the others for kitty litter or to soak up tractor leaks...This is a quality reprint and designed to last years in your shop or collection, and is a must for any collector, restorer, or farmer still trying to use these great machines...It covers everything you can think of from the oil weight of the air cleaner to the grease used on the optional wide front...it covers wheel bearings, engine, tranny, and well everything....It gives viscosity, and tells you service intervals and quantity of fluid capacity...If you are like me, and always have a hard time remembering everything, rely on this sheet to save you a bunch of time and get your tractors fluids serviced properly...
From experience, I would offer this advice...Make a couple of copies of this sheet and get one laminated...take it with you to the parts house wen you buy grease an lube...put a few more copies in a cheap folder and use one each time you service tractor...just check off things as you do them and then date the sheet...keep the folder with your tractor records and refer back when needed to make sure you are up to date on everything...
Not that it matters, but producing these helpful reprints is just an extention of my love for antique tractors and equipment, so please bid with confidence if you see anything you need. I have access to over a thousand old manuals from the 20's to the 60's, so don't be afraid to ask if there is anything you need, I'm busy, but I will do my best to help if I can...Thanks for looking...BTW, I will attempt to combine/reduce shipping where possible on multiple purchases...
Shipping will be a flat $3 in the US. Seller prefers Paypal, but will accept check or money order subject to clearing hold...
