Belt Sizing
There are two methods to determine belt size.
Method 1
The most widely used method is to buy a belt that is 1-2" larger than your pants size, or as some say: ONE SIZE UP. Example, if you wear a size 36 pants, you would order a size 38 belt. We do not make odd sizes (33, 35, 37, etc.) so you would have to go with a belt that is 2" larger. If you wear an odd size pants, say a size 37, and sticking with the 1-2" rule, you too should order a size 38. Again, we do not make odd sizes, and a size 40 would be 3" larger, or too big.
Method 2
Measure a belt you currently wear. Measure from where the buckle attaches to the belt (leather wraps around the buckle) to the hole you are currently using. If this measurement is 42 inches, order a size 42 belt. Our belts are sized to the center hole. If you order a 42, it will be 42" to the third or center hole. Fitting a belt to the center hole is important as it gives you the most flexibility with your belt.
IMPORTANT: Do not measure the belt from end to end. You will not get the accurate size that way

Q: What size should I order? How do I figure my size?
|
|
|
A:We recommend ordering one size larger than your pants/trouser size. If you wear a size 36 pants, we advise ordering a 38 belt. Our belts are measured from where the leather begins (attaches to the buckle) to the center hole. Therefore, a size 38 belt will be 38 inches from the beginning of the leather to the center/third hole.

Q:Do you combine shipping?
|
|
|
A:Yes, we offer a combined shipping discount. For shipments to the United States, each additional single item auction is $2 additional, and double item auction is $3 additional. We do offer combined shipments for International orders as well. However, these rates vary based on destination. Please email us and we will give you a quote.

Q:When can I expect my order to arrive?

A:We ship at a minimum of every two days. Often we ship same day, if payment received before 2pm EST. We ship US Postal Service Priority Mail. Typical shipping times are 2 to 3 days in the United States and 7 to 10 days International. A Priority Mail tracking number will be emailed to you immediately after your item is shipped.

A:Yes. We ship internationally using the US Postal Service International Priority Mail. This service usually take 7 to 10 business days depending on destination. We offer offer combined shipping discounts for international customers. Please email us for a quote.

A:We have a NO QUESTIONS asked return policy. We accept all returns as long as the item is still in the same condition as sold. We only sell new belts so the belt should appear unworn. A:Yes, we can handle orders up to 500 belts per shipment. If interested you can email us and we will work up a price for you. Once agreed, we will setup an eBay "Buy It Now" auction for you to make the purchase.

Q:Are your belts real leather?
|

A:Yes, absolutely. Our belts are made from Italian leather. This does not mean our belts are made in Italy. It simply means no matter where the belt is stitched, we guarantee the leather to be authentic Italian leather.

Q:Where are your belts manufactured?
|
|
|
A:Our belts are made in various countries. We currently use India, Argentina, and China. Our belts were made in Madison, North Carolina until 2001. We were forced to source overseas at that time to stay competitive with pricing.

Returns / Exchanges

Product Returns: If you are not completely satisfied with your order, you may return it, no questions asked, within 15 days from purchase date.. The product must still be in new or unworn condition. Unlike our competitors, we never charge a restocking fee. Once we receive your item(s) back in our warehouse, a credit will be issued to you immediately, minus the original shipping charges.
Product Exchanges: Merchandise exchanges are free if item is still in UNWORN / NEW condition. Mail item(s) back to us with instructions of how you would like us to exchange, including size and colors needed in return, along with return shipping address. We do charge for return shipping. You will be billed the actual return shipping charges. Currently that amount is $4.95 via US Postal Service Priority Mail. For orders originating from the United States, please include $4.95 to The Belt Shoppe. International buyers need to contact us first for a return shipping quote.
