Movie description
Corbin Bernsen stars in this film from the producers of the popular APOCALYPSE series of films that mix Christian ideology with TWILIGHT ZONE like plots to examine modern day attitudes towards religion. The film takes place in the not so distant future, when the world is governed by one man, a peaceful yet oppressive ruler who seeks to crush any resistance, especially those with religious inclinations. Here, Mr. Bernsen plays Mitch Kendrick, a defense attorney assigned to represent Helen Hannah (Steen), a Christian dissident whose trial is an excuse for getting rid of her and preventing her from amassing any followers. However, Kendrick soon begins believing in Hannah's cause and her God, and ultimately puts his own life in jeopardy to vindicate God and indict Earth's ruler.
