Practicing small removes the fear factor for younger players and forces hitters of all ages to track the ball from the release point to the impact zone. The smaller size promotes mental concentration, especially when used in conjunction with a small diameter bat. The soft, polyurethane foam Small Ball’s limited flight is suitable for use indoors and out.  Throws 5", 5 oz. Small Balls only.
 

The Small ball Machine is designed to:

• Teach the hitter to track the ball from release point to the impact zone.
• Increase the hitter's mental concentration by teaching to hit a small object with a small bat.
• Help the hitter improve depth perception by keeping his or her head still and eyes level.
• Teach the fundamentals of hitting while removing the fear factor.
• Allow players to practice hitting indoors safely and in a limited space.
• Allow players to practice hitting without a batting cage.
