Up for bids is a Jugtown NC pottery bean pot with the lid dated 1980. This pot features the famous Jugtown blue grey color with blue flowers. This bean pot also features two handles. The famous Jugtown stamp and date are noted on the bottom. This bean pot measures 8" across and stands 3 3/4" tall. The lid features a notch at the top. The circumference of the lid is 23 1/4". The lid fits snuggly on the pot, as it rests just under the pot's rim about 1/4". The circumference of this pot is 25 1/2". This is quite a substantial pot. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or flea bites. Don't miss the opportunity to own this hard to find piece of Jugtown pottery.
