Buff color print from "The Book of Cattle & Dairy Farming". Washington Government Printing Office. United States Consular Reports, 1888. The print will be accompanied ay a photocopy of the books front page to help document authenticity.
The book was partly destroyed rendering it not saleable. This is one of the prints rescued. Not a copy. Carefully removed and not trimmed.
Julius Bien & Co. Lith. is printed on the bottom right.
This is plate no. 76 titled "Bull Flamande".
Page measures about 9" x 5 3/4". Printed area measures about 7 1/4" x 4 1/2" Lithographed one side only. Backside is blank.
Beautiful when framed. You won't be dissapointed.
Each print is fine detail. Scans do not do justice. All are drawings of real cattle subjects.
