I have a Jupiter 3/4th
size, three valve tuba that is in great condition and is perfect for
beginning tuba players. I bought it three years ago for $2,500. It
has a few spots on it where the brass has faded, the spots are where I
had my hands on it while playing and the sweat and oils from my hands
faded the brass. It will happen on all tubs and brass instruments. It
has three very small dents and a couple scratches, but you can't tell
from a distance, like say if you were in the audience at a school
concert. I have been playing tuba for too long and I have moved onto a
more advanced tuba.
This Jupiter has the ability to be a
convertible tuba, aka shoulder tuba, but I don't have the extension for
it. The bell comes off by un-screwing two screws along the tube that
the mouthpiece inserts into.
It comes with a very heavy duty
case with wheels and extremely protective padding in the case. I have
also included the stock mouthpiece and a great mouthpiece for
beginners. I also will include a polishing rag, valve oil, tubing
grease, and a carrying strap.
I have many beginner tuba books and will include them free of charge upon request.

I would like the buyer to pay shipping, but am willing to bargain. Because I am on the west coast, shipping to the eastern parts of the US or further will be a challenge, and the shipping won't be just $30.00.
