The secret to our success lies in the unique characteristics of our filter medium that was originally developed by K&N all those years ago in the dust, sweat and tears of desert motocross racing. We just wanted to win races and stumbled on a cotton filtration technology destined to be great. Our high flow cotton gauze air filter is washable, reusable and built to last for the life of an automotive engine. The filters consist of four to six sheets of cotton gauze layered between two sheets of aluminum wire mesh. This media is then pleated and oiled to enhance its filtering capabilities and overall performance. The result is an air filter that allows dramatically more air into an engine, is washable and reusable, and will protect your engine for the life of your vehicle.

Replacement Air Filters for Street Legal Motorcycles - K&N Replacement Air Filters are designed to fit right into the standard OEM motorcycle airbox. No modifications are required by the owner, no jet changes or adjustment of the carburetors is anticipated or suggested. Customer modification of the standard airbox - removing the cover, drilling holes into the side or top will have a drastic effect on smooth carburetion. Modifications will cause the stock system to run lean and reduce horsepower. Keep your motorcycle stock and the new K&N Replacement Element will be good for the life of the engine.

Air Filters for Off-Road Dirt Bikes and ATV's - K&N Replacement Air Filters are ideal for extended use in dirty and dusty off-road riding and provide clean carburetion even at high altitude. As a rule, no jet changes are required with just a K&N air filter element, however the spark plug condition should be checked for proper mixture after the first few miles of riding. If the airbox has been modified for increased air flow, the main jet size will need to be increased to provide the proper fuel mixture.

Because they are engineered to last the life of your auto and motorcycle engine. We use only the highest quality materials and never compromise. Every 50,000 miles, we recommend you clean and re-oil our filter, then put it back in your engine and it will perform virtually like new.

Return Policy

Our return policy is straight forward and customer friendly.  You can feel confident shopping with us - after all, we've been in business over 30 years.  Our policy is a common sense approach to doing business.  We will take any item back within 30 days of purchase as long as it is within the constraints of the manufacturer's warranty return policy (which we are obligated to honor) and the following conditions are met:

The item must be in original, unused condition and must be returned in the original packaging

We are unable to accept any item that has been installed and/or damaged.  In addition, we cannot accept return items that are not in the original packaging.  These are constraints set by product manufacturers and we are obligated to honor their policies on returns.  Items returned in poor condition or having parts missing will not be credited.

Return shipping charges must be paid by the customer

Unless we are at fault, the customer is responsible for paying return shipping costs.  FOR RETURNS:  A 20% restocking fee, plus the cost of shipping the item to the customer, will be charged on items returned without an exchange. FOR EXCHANGES: The customer will be responsible for the shipping and the return shipping costs of the original item(s). As a courtesy to you, the shipping on your replacement item(s) will be Freight Free providing they fall in the parameters of our Freight Free policy.
