WE COLLECT THE HAIR -WE MAKE THE BRACELETS. This bracelet is made with strands of AFRICAN ELEPHANT HAIR AND GIRAFFE HAIR WOUND ONTO THE KNOT. The sliding knots allow it to open to a 3 and half inch diameter -which fits most hands (if you require a different size please just requerst it). These hairs are found in the wild where we live (St. Lucia -South Africa -THE ELEPHANT COAST) after being shed from the tail of an elephant. My husband then makes the bracelets giving exceptional detail to perfection. Each bracelet is numbered so that you get a unique piece of jewelry that you can cherish.

Elephant hair bracelets are made using different thicknesses of hair and different quantities of hair. 2 elephant hair bracelets can have a very different appearance because of the thickness of the hair and the number of hairs used. THERE IS ALSO A VERY BIG DIFFERENCE IN THE QUALITY OF WORKMANSHIP.

BELOW IS A GUIDE TO OUR PRICING

"A" category is a bulky bracelet made with the thickest hair possible, "B" category bulky with thick hair, "C" category has a lot of medium hair and "D" category has a large quantity of thin hair. The price is mainly dependant on the thickness of the hair. The thicker the hair the bulkier the bracelet and more difficult it is to work with. Thick hair is very difficult to find (most bracelets sold on Ebay are made from thin/medium hair). These prices are guidelines and prices may vary.
