Up for auction is this book "Proud Heritage" put out by the Kansas City Life Insurance Company. This book was copywritten in 1957. This 56 page book is a collection of stories from the "Kansas City Hour," a weekly program of great music sponsored by the Kansas City Life Insurance Company. Original narrations were written by Donna DeCamp, William Stratton and Arthur Williams. The book is illustrated by Frederic james and edited by Robert S. Townsend. This book is in good shape. There is a small stain on the front cover that goes thru to the second page. This book is in excellent look into the history of Kansas City.
