You are bidding on a FABULOUS vintage Centerpiece COMPOTE from KENSINGTON Aluminum - the defunct Art and Giftware subsidiary of ALCOA (the Aluminum Company of America) .. called the STRATFORD COMPOTE in company literature - catalog #7411 .. made of heavy gauge aluminum alloy with Dramatic crystal clear GLASS ball Pedestal Stem  .. designed by famous Industrial Artist LURELLE GUILD circa 1934 .. a SUPER piece - perfect for any Art Deco or Mid Century Modern room setting .. see 3 photos below also.  

VERY GOOD condition with some typical surface scratches and from use (see photos below) - no dents to aluminum - no chips to glass .. measures approximately 13 5/8" in diameter  x 5/3/4" high .. die marked on bottoms with the 'K in Shield' logo above 'Kensington' (see last photo) .. guaranteed to be Old and Original .. offered with NO RESERVE!
