KENSINGTON, KES All Purpose/EVENT saddle... BLACK

This is a MADE IN ENGLAND saddle! Imported here about a year ago but never used!

This saddle is still BRAND NEW!! Never ridden in or even girthed up!

The tag says it is an 18" seat but it measures only 17" and the seat is very deep as well so i would say this would ride like a 16.5-17" saddle and will not work for you if you truly need an 18"....

The tree on this saddle is incredibly WIDE!! It is marked as an XXW... the measurements indicate it would fit a horse that needs a 38 or 40cm wide saddle... SUPER WIDE...

The gullet all the way back, down the spine, is incredibly wide as well.... never narrows down to less than 3" and is 4+" most of the way back!!! (this is impossible to find!)..

This saddle will only work on horses that are mutton withered and broad shouldered and almost table top shaped!

OR...This saddle would work well on a less wide horse IF you used a shim pad system of some sort to build up the front end, like my THER-E-QUEST pads.

The leather is wonderful on this saddle! It still needs breaking in but it is really high quality leather so should break in soft and durable!

The Panels are gusseted and wool flocked... (this is hard to find in an AP model!)...

Flaps measure 15" from stirrup bar down... (most jumping saddles are 13-14" and most dressage are 17-18" long)...

Padded and stitched down flap as well as nice big front knee blocks.

DEEP SEAT! This saddle will offer a ton of security for jumping and also be deep enough to sit down and do dressage!

If you need a really wide saddle then this is the one! Suggested retail in England is over 2K now... this brand is hard to find in the states. With the current exchange rate you would spend twice my opening bid!
