The Moneychangers was a mini-series based on the novel by Arthur Hailey about corporate intrigue in the banking world. The main plot had Kirk Douglas and Christopher Plummer as rivals battling over the vacant top executive spot in their bank. One of the subplots had Timothy Bottoms playing a bank teller who embezzles money from his bank, blames a female co-worker, gets caught and goes to jail. He serves his time, becomes the boyfriend of the girl he framed and goes back to work for the same bank as an undercover agent to ferret out some counterfeiters.

Kirk Douglas is a legendary A list actor with 91 almost all motion picture acting credits 1946 - 2008. His heyday was the 1950s up to the mid 1960s. Some of his best remembered films are Out Of The Past 1947, Ace In The Hole 1951, Paths Of Glory 1957, The Vikings 1957, Spartacus 1960.

Timothy Bottoms has 107 acting credits 1971 - 2009. Like many actors, he didn't live up to the promise shown in his early career. His second film in 1971 was the smash hit The Last Picture Show. He had another big hit with The Paper Chase in 1973. After that, it was the usual B movies and average TV shows.

All of the photographs I'm listing are original glossy prints issued by the movie or television studios. They are not modern day copies. The photos come from the estate of Nicola Buzzo in Bluefield, West Virginia. Mr. Buzzo was a photographer and engraver and worked for the local newspaper in Bluefield. He died at age 93 in 2005. He saved 7,000 to 8,000 publicity photos 1950s - 1980s that he used in his work. Many of these photos have the studio or talent agency information paper sheet (snipe) still attached or typed information on the back. Some of them have a sticker attached to the back marking them for use by the Bluefield newspaper compositing room to prepare the photo for publication.
