In the lower lefthand corner you can see a red square with calligraphy, which is Kiyoshi Saito's personal chop mark. A chop is a traditional century's old method of signature in Japan and China, and the chop is skillfully handcarved from wood, horn or stone (an art in itself) - which is also known as a hanko.
