Beautiful chasing; Nice enameling

Up for auction is this fine, vintage Knights Templar York Rite Masonic watch fob.

This fob features a raised gold crown superimposed on a red enameled cross set on white enamel that reads in gold enamel, In Hoc Signo Vinces. The edge is raised and the emblem is set on a Maltese cross that has incredibly detailed chasing. On each arm of the cross is an esoteric symbol including: a blue enameled square, compass, G emblem on the left, two crossed working tools in black enamel at the bottom, a crossed pick axe shovel and crowbar in red enamel on the right, and at the top is the all-seeing eye in blue enamel. Behind each of these emblems is fine chasing and gold clamps cover the edges. A knights bust at the top has a facemask and has a bale at the top with a jump ring. The back has a raised keystone with a white enameled ring and the letters, KSHTWSST, in gold with the monogram of the initials, JMS. Around the keystone it is engraved, Micebanon Lodge 286, J. M. Shenk, Weidle RAC 197.

This fob is in pristine condition including the enameling, chasing, engraving, bale and hinged top. This badge measures an impressive 3.7 cm tall (not including the bale) and 2.3 cm wide. This fob weighs a nice 10.1 grams.

I guarantee this fob to be 14K gold or better. The bale and fob are in excellent, working and wearable condition. Thank you for looking and enjoy bidding!
