Woolen, and Blended Washable Products:
Kookaburra can be used in any water temperature.

Follow the manufacturers instructions. You may spot clean heavily soiled areas with full strength Kookaburra prior to washing.

Machine wash:
Top Loading Machines: Measure 1-2 FL OZ for a large load and half the quantity for a small load

for Front loading machines 1/2 - 1 ounce is sufficient.

Follow manufacturer direction for setting selection.

Hand Wash: Measure 1 TSP to 1 Gallon of water. Rinse with cold water.

Drying: If machine washing, spin out excess water then allow to air dry. If hand washing, do not wring . Air dry.

Although Kookaburra Wash was originally developed to clean and revitalize sheepskin, woolen and knitted products, it's superb for the care of all fine fabrics as well. Silk, Synthetics and cotton all benefit from being washed with Kookaburra.

Our 16 ounce bottle of Kookaburra Wash will wash up to 80 hand washed loads.

Now for my personal statements:

Kookaburra wash with lanolin is a marvellous product.  I absolutely love it.  I have tried several brands of wool wash with lanolin and I get the best dye results with this product.  I pre-soak my wools after they are washed off the bolt.  This makes the dyes take better and faster.  My dye baths get clearer even with reds which are notorious for never clearing from the bath completely. Plus I find this product to be more concentrated and lasts longer than the other brands.  It could be the wonderful design of the 16 oz bottle.  It has a measured dose so you can get the exact amount every time instead of just guessing.  The Kookaburra lasted through A LOT more dye jobs than the others. 

After dyeing I rinse my wool 3 times in the sink and then fill my washer and soak the wools with the Kookaburra at least 3 hours but usually overnight.  The wools are soft and supple and strip with ease.  The hand of the wool is restored.  Plus my hands do not chap when working lanolin soaked wool.  There is no need to rinse your wool any further.

I have asthma and after reading all the product literature and speaking to my Kookaburra sales rep.  I realized the advantages of washing all my bedding in Kookaburra.  Tea Tree oil is well known to be effective against dust mites. It is also a natural fungicide, bacteriostat and deodorant.  I also use Kookaburra wool wash for my baby son's clothes and bedding. 

This product is water based and completely biodegradable.  It contains no enzymes, phosphates, peroxide, or alkali.  I can't say enough good things about Kookaburra. It is safe for all fibers and fabrics (silk, linen, wool, cotton, and even synthetics).  I would recommend this to anyone who works with wool of any kind and any craft.

Two of the pictures are testimonial letters from Kookaburra's customers.  I will gladly send copies if you request before you purchase if you would like to read them.  This is what I use for all the wools I dye and sell.  I carry Kookaburra in my eBay store also.  I usually always have some in stock if you need more than one bottle.

ABOUT LANOLIN WOOL WASH
Eucalan OR Kookaburra are 100% all natural and biodegradable wool washes which moth proof and infuse the wools with lanolin. This makes them super soft and smell oh so great. It is good for your hands as you hook because they are soaked in the lanolin. It's an extra step and takes more time but is well worth it! Lanolin has natural anti-biotic properties, is a waterproofer, and is used for healing cracked and chapped skin. Using wool washes with lanolin are also great for people with allergies. Tea Tree oil is in the wash also. By soaking my wools in it after dyeing I am re-infusing the lanolin that is stripped out by the dyeing process. Working with these wools is a dream and is good for your skin. Dyeing is a harsh process and rinsing and soaking in the wool wash makes the wool "behave" better!

Wool washes are gentle cleansers and conditioners,they contain no harmful detergents, phosphates or enzymes and are totally biodegradable. WithTea Tree Oil, so effective against dust mites, and lanolin to restore and enhance fiber!

DYES
I use Pro-Chem Acid, Cushing, and Natural dyes in my woolens. I rinse all my wools with wool wash which infuses them with lanolin and is a natural mothproofer. These are all the same wools and dyes I use in my own rugs and primitive what nots.

I want you to be happy with this wool. I am willing to work with you on any problems you might have. I take pride in my 100% positive feedback and want to keep it. If you have any issues please let us work together to solve it. So far everyone has been very pleased with my hand dyed wools. I'm more than happy to exchange wools if a bundle does not hook right for you or the color was not what you expected. Some wools are more loosely woven and don't hook as easy. I usually try to note this in the auction. I take special requests gladly and can cut wool in sizes: 3, 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, and 10. This is my full-time job and I take it seriously.

Non-smoking home. No inside pets. Just lots of wool dust bunnies and dye stained counter tops.
