Kato N Scale Passenger Car Set "Empire Builder"

This is a complete 12 Smoothside Passenger car set of the Great Northern "Empire Builder" N scale by Kato.

Included in this collection is Set A- #106-1003, Set B-#106-1103 and Set C-#106-1053.  These are brand new in 

original packaging, I ran these on Kato straight track with two additional cars (also up for auction) behind a GN  

F7A & B this looked very impressive and ran very well. Smoothside cars were in predominant use on most North

 American railroads in the 1940 - 1960's for streamlined passenger service.  During the heyday of streamlineed service,

trains consisting of fourteen to twenty-eight total cars were not uncommon.  Because of "pooling" and "run through"

agreements, most trains carried cars with different paint schemes and/or other railroads.
