For over 70 years Kawai has set the standard for building the finest acoustic pianos in the world. For the first time they applied their craftsmanship and technological leadership to a digital piano especially for the modern musician... MP9000. The culmination of breathtaking sound, superlative touch, intuitive performance design and many new technologies, the MP9000 is simply the finest digital piano available.
Utilizing a true mechanical action Kawai calls Enhanced AWA Grand Action, the action of the MP9000 uses real wooden keys, weighted and balanced to re-create the feel of a real grand piano. In addition to the action, the MP9000 tone generation system adds "sympathetic resonance" that introduces the harmonic information of the un-damped strings, plus dynamic half-pedaling.
