This versatile, convenient hanger holds kimono, haori and obi. Why hide them away in a drawer where they can't be seen? Show off your collection with these telescoping hangers. They are also a great way to air your kimono out every once in a while, to protect it from mold and insects. This is especially important here in Kyoto, with its humid summers!

Measures 124 centimeters across when fully extended. Obi rack folds in for storage when not in use. The hook is attached to a sturdy nylon cord and can rotate freely, allowing you to hook it on a clothes rack or against a ledge, as I've done in the photos. Made of strong plastic, it holds up to 5 kilograms. If you have a heavy kimono such as a wedding kimono, these are not recommended-a wooden dowel would be more suitable.
