This is a great little kitchen scale to help manage your portion sizes. It will be great for many weight loss programs where weighing your food is important to your success.


It comes with a detachable weight cup. The capacity is marked in both ounces and grams on the front. It goes to 16 oz (1 pound) or 500 grams and is marked in smaller intervals in between. It has an adjusting wheel on the back that allows you to set the weight to 0 after placing the container of your choice on the top - you only want the weight of your food, not the container.

An outstanding feature of this scale is its compact size. The square bowl is 4 1/4 inches square and 1 3/4 inches deep. The scale compresses to tuck neatly into the bowl (see photo). It's easy to store, but most important, it would be easy to tuck the whole thing into its box and carry it with you in a purse or tote.
