Alexander Khomsky's art has been characterized as "poetically symbolic, refined and elevated, the way positive and resurrecting art should be." Born in Moscow, Khomsky graduated from the Stroganoff Institute of Decorative and Applied Arts with MFA in Fine and Applied Arts. Drawing inspiration from the work of the masters before him, his style is a unique combination of classical technique and fresh, creative innovation. With bright color and striking composition, Khomsky's women wear hats that expose their innermost dreams and desires; his cityscapes have playful, art nouveau flourishes; and his lines are clean and confident. Khomsky's work is collectible and accessible; reviews of his pieces can be found in publications around the world, including the L.A. Times and Fine Arts Magazine.
