  This is a M. C. Lilly black felt ceremonial uniform helmet of either Knights of the Templar (as sold to me) or Knights of Pythias (as I have seen more modern versions listed). It is Vintage with a few marks, the inside lining is excellent marked by manufacturer and hat size of 7 1/2. The spike has been professionally soldered on and blended to a point of being unnoticeable. The face mask has a cord which locks it up or down. Yes there is a Skull and Bones on the front! Looks very cool on. My wife won't let me cut the lawn while wearing it. An excellent antique, very rare, a great conversation piece, or piece of fraternal memorabilia.
