Pros: Inexpensive, small, plays a variety of media, FM tuner built in w/ ability to record from radio stations, easy to use interface and intuitive controls, high storage capacity, sound quality is very decent through the provided headset. Works with a variety of Windows versions, though some of the older ones will need you to install the provided software. I wasn't expecting the range of options and features... It was a very nice surprise.

Cons: The cons are pretty small, really. The earphones are a little funky and get tangled easily, though that seems about par for the course for those things anyway. Wish it had come with a clip to attach it to a belt loop or pocket, but again most others don't, either. Shiny and black, so it picks up fingerprints easily. Radio automatically stores first 20 stations it finds, with no option to customize the saved stations, but again not a huge con, especially for the price. Radio seems to have decent reception where we are as well.

Other Thoughts: We bought two of these, and had no trouble setting them up and getting them going right out of the package. Not sure what was preventing the first reviewer from using them with Vista, but they've worked flawlessly for us on two different computers, both running Vista. One Vista 64 & one Vista 32 bit. With both, the devices were recognized immediately and transferring files was as easy as copying and pasting from the computer's music folder. Unless something suddenly goes horribly and unexpectedly wrong with the ones we got, I'd definitely recommend this MP3 player to anyone looking for something easy to use with lots of storage and versatility, but that won't cost them a fortune.
