I bought this item a few years ago with the intention of learning all the functionality, but had just started playing the guitar & honestly just got more interested in learning that than reading all the overwhelming info. contained with the keyboard.  The sample RAM was never even installed.  Thought at one point I might have someone who was more familiar teach me all the great things you can do with it but have since decided I would just rather have an old upright.  I honestly stood at the keys maybe once every few months to just use the grand piano function & play a couple songs.  That's it...  it's in MINT condition.  No scratches AT ALL, and has sat in the same place in my house all this time.  I just dust it from time to time.  LOL 

This is a Kurzweil K2600 Synthesizer in factory / mint condition. Some of the features for this powerful machine include full MIDI controller capability and incredibly versatile live control including eight sliders, two ribbon controllers (including an 600mm ribbon that can be further split into 3 zones for even more control), two pedal and a breath controller inputs, and 2 panel switches and 4 footswitches.  The 2600 is the ultimate controller for any MIDI production studio and the ultimate performance synthesizer live. The keyboard itself is a semi-weighted action with velocity attack and release and pressure sensitivity controller outputs. 

It comes loaded with over 450 studio-quality sounds including Kurzweil's acclaimed Stereo Grand Piano. The built-in 32-track sequencer has features usually found on hi-end software-based sequencers. The K2600 sports has 48-note polyphony with 192 oscillators. Kurzweil's KB-3 Organ Mode is hands down one of the best Hammond B-3 emulations around. The K2600 comes standard with Kurzweil's renowned KDFX effects processing, offering up to 5 simultaneous effects processors that can be run in parallel or chained end to end for some astounding effects capabilities.

This particular unit also includes the sampling option (with 64mb of ram installed), and can be operated in "Live Mode" meaning it can input, sample, or even process Live sounds and manipulate them with the powerful VAST synthesis engine. The VAST synthesis engine and operating system offers 127 algorithms with Kurzweil's exclusive Triple Modular Processing, including Subtractive, FM, and other unique styles of synthesis invented by Kurzweil's talented engineers. 

The absolute pristine condition can be readily seen in the accompanying photos.
