The new GT2 is the latest in a popular series of big 1:8 scale nitro-powered cars based on the 7-time IFMAR World Champion Inferno line from Kyosho. The Inferno series has been at the center of the RC racing universe for over 20 years and is the standard by which all other cars are judged. Much of the same technology that earned an unprecedented seven World Championships is incorporated into the design of this new on-road Inferno. The GT2 builds on the popular features of the original GT and adds a number of new features that increase value, durability, user friendliness and speed, not to mention enhancing its unmatched scale appearance. Features The new GT2 features scale bodies of the Pratt & Miller Corvette C6R racecar that dominated the GT1 class of the LeMans/ALMS series, and the Red Bull Audi A4 DTM of Martin Tomczyk, which won the Nurburgring and Zandvoort races in 2007, and whose team won first and third in the overall DTM series championship. More factory racer replicas are also on the way for the unique GT2 chassis. All replica bodies are factory licensed, which means the GT2 meets a much higher standard than other products that are generic and unlicensed. 2 Speed Transmission with High Speed Gears - Speed has always been synonymous with the Inferno GT, but the automatic two-speed transmission and the new gears in the GT2 take speed to a whole new level. The transmission features a 21/40T second gear combination, which gives the GT2 a 6.3:1 final drive ratio in second gear, up from 7.49:1 in the original GT. That translates to an increase in top speed and less wear and tear on the engine because it doesn't have to rev so fast to achieve a class-leading top-speed. The GT2 is easily capable of 55 mph as the car is equipped out of the box, and speeds upwards of 70 mph or more with slight modifications. Long Wheelbase Chassis - One of the key elements of the new GT2 is the long wheelbase chassis. It's stretched for performance as well as appearance. The longer wheelbase adds stability at high speed, and still turns aggressively when needed. The extra length also makes the proportions more scale than the original GT, which is evident the stunning looks of the Red Bull Audi A4 and the Pratt & Miller C6R Corvette. 150cc Fuel Tank - Longer run times are always a plus, and the GT2 includes a big 150cc fuel tank for run time of up to 15 minutes. The tank features a quick-fill spring loaded top, so you can refuel while the engine is running so you can race around until the sun goes down. Powerful 4.6cc Big Block Engine - Powering the IGT2 is a big 4.6cc (.28 c.i.) pull start engine (GXR28SG). This new engine features modifications to increase performance and value. In addition to the standard features offered in the original GXR28 engine, the New Radio and High Torque Servos - A new two-channel radio is included with the GT2. The radio features throttle and steering trim adjustments, dual-rate to simultaneously increase or reduce left and right steering travel, and servo reversing switches for both channels. The servos are the high-torque variety with powerful 90 oz./in. of torque. Composite Oil Shocks with Dual O-Rings Seals and Threaded Spring Pre-Load Adjusters - Stronger standard springs and heavier damping keep the GT2 rolling flat and fast through the corners. All the aluminum parts are anodized to match the rest of the parts on the chassis. Shaft Drive System - The differentials and drive gears (except the two-speed transmission) are contained with the bulkheads, which protects the drivetrain from debris. It's a more advanced and durable drive system than belt drive, which requires less maintenance and produces superior performance. Double Disc Brakes - Two vented steel disc brake rotors provide the extra stopping power needed for such a high-performance machine. The vented rotors keep the brakes running cooler and the metal-backed fiber brake pads provide smooth stopping power. New, Smaller 34mm Flywheel and Clutch Bell Bearings - The 34 mm flywheel is 10mm smaller than that which was included on the original GT. The smaller size allows the use of conventional engine mounts, which are standard on the GT2, the smaller flywheel also fits a pilot-type crankshaft, which allows easy installation of high-performance aftermarket engines. Additionally, the smaller flywheel size reduces overall mass and most importantly, rotating mass for improved acceleration. Ball bearings in the clutch bell replace the needle bearings previously featured in the original GT. Ball bearings last longer and are easier to replace. Turnbucle Linkages - The suspension and steering linkages feature turnbuckles, which allows for quick adjustments to the camber and steering toe angles. All that's needed is a 5.5mm wrench to make any adjustment on the spot - there's no need to detach or move anything to facilitate an adjustment. Full Factory Assembly - The IGT2 is almost completely factory assembled. Trained technicians build the car from the ground up, so it's virtually ready to go right out of the box - even the body is painted, expertly detailed and the decals are installed exactly as you see it on box. Simply add fuel and some alkaline batteries needed to power the transmitter, receiver and glow igniter and you're ready for action. eBay tells you a "4" rating means the item was accurately described, that you were satisfied with the seller's communication, the item was shipped quickly, and the shipping charges were reasonable - which a normal person would say is a good thing. However,  ebay treats a "4" as a request to terminate the sellers's ebay account, charge the seller more, and make it difficult for bidders to find that seller's items. COMBINED SHIPPING

We are more than happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases to save you money on shipping. We do require that all items must be paid for via a single payment. This makes it possible to match your items up for shipping, and eliminates the extra fees we get charged when separate payments are made. (If you make 10 separate payments, it can cost us up to an additional $3.50 in fees just to accept those separate payments. A single payment helps us keep our handling cost low - which in turn allows us to pass the savings on to you.) If separate payments are made, the full shipping charge for each item will apply.  You may obtain combined shipping quotes in two ways and will usually get a cheaper shipping quote if you E-mail us with the item numbers you wish to combine and your shipping address as eBay's automatic system is not very flexible. Ways you can combine shipping:

1) eBay's system can do an automatic combination for you. EBay will charge you full shipping for the heaviest item, and add a flat additional amount for each item you add to the order. This works well if all items are heavy, or you only have a few items. If you are buying lots of small items you will get a much better rate E-mailing us for a quote. 

2) You can E-mail us for a shipping total based on the weight of the order.  We will either issue you a combined invoice through ebay, or give you an estimate number you can reference on your payment to make sure you get the combined rate.  We reserve the right to use the shipping carrier of our choice when offering a combined shipping discount. This gives us more flexibility and helps keep your shipping costs down. If you want us to give you a shipping quote, purchase the items and then E-mail us for a quote before making payment.

WHEN MAKING PAYMENT

We accept Paypal (Ebay Payments), Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. You must include your shipping address with your payment. If you are using Paypal and have special instructions, please contact us before making payment. Please do not use Paypal's "Notes" section on the payment as these notes do note always appear on the final payment page. We do reserve the right to restrict  payment types or to require verification of identity to help prevent fraud.  If payment is not received within 4 days, your item may be released to other bidders. eBay will automatically file an unpaid item report for any items not paid within 4 days. If you pay after an unpaid item report has been filed, please contact us so that we can get the unpaid item report closed for you.

DOMESTIC SHIPPING

 Most packages will arrive within 3-14 days. Claims for lost packages cannot be filed until 30 days have passed. By making a purchase from us you agree to allow 30 days for your package to be delivered. Lost packages are rare, but we ask that when it occurs you work with us to resolve the issue. We ship quickly, but have no control over what the carrier does with the package once it leaves our hands. If you need guaranteed delivery by a specific date, please E-mail us for a shipping quote that includes a guaranteed delivery date (such as Express Mail, or UPS 2 & 3 day delivery services).  Packages will ship via first class mail, priority mail, or Fedex Ground depending on the weight, size, and contents of the package. Shipments to P.O. Boxes may incur additional charges (because we normally ship our heavy items vis UPS).

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

We like to keep our items available to buyers across the globe. Please familiarize yourself with the following terms for international shipping before bidding. This will help us keep our items available to international buyers. If you cannot abide by these terms, please do not make this purchase.

• Average Airmail transit times are 10-20 days, but can take longer. The UK, Spain, Brazil and Italy commonly see longer transit times.  During the Christmas season airmail transit times of 6 weeks or more are not uncommon. By making a purchase from us, you agree to allow 40 days for a package to be delivered - if your package has not been delivered by that time, we can declare it lost and get a refund or replacement for you. Insurance will be required on all international packages and by making the purchase you agree to cooperate in filling out any forms required for an insurance claim. If you require faster delivery or need an in-transit tracking number, please ask for a shipping quote for Express Mail. Please understand that once we give your package to the postal service, we have no control over how the postal service routes your package or how long customs lets the package sit before they clear it for delivery.  

• International shipping is extra (meaning higher than the listed cost for delivery within the US) and the buyer is responsible for all customs, duties, and taxes (we cannot falsify customs forms, as it illegal to do so - Falsifying a government document carries a penalty of 5 years in prison and/or a $10,000 fine per occurrence.) These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.

• Flammable items such as paints (non-water based or flammable), fuels, and similar items cannot be shipped internationally.

• ***VERY IMPORTANT*** If your address uses more than 40 characters on any line of the address please contact us before making payment. The shipping software we use will cut off any address line over 40 characters long. By making a purchase, you agree to make sure your address the address you send on your payment meets this condition. 

• Some countries have restrictions on what may be imported into that country - please make sure you can legally import the item before you bid. Some countries have size restrictions on packages. If you are ordering large items such as airplane kits, please contact us before you bid so we can make sure the item can be shipped to you as there are size restrictions to some countries.

• We no longer ship to Italy or Turkey due to the extremely long transit times, high rates of postal theft, and high fraud rates.

 P.O. Box, APO/FPO, ALASKA, HAWAII, and US POSSESSIONS SHIPMENTS

Flammable items such as paints (non-water based or flammable), fuels, and similar items cannot be shipped to these addresses due to hazardous materials restrictions. Additional shipping charges may apply to shipments going to these locations (because heavy items we ship via UPS/FEDEX ground within the continental US - a method that cannot be used to these locations).  We strongly suggest that you request Priority Mail shipping to APO/FPO addresses as first class mail to these locations can be slow.

Insurance

In compliance with ebay's September 2009 policy charge, we will no longer be offering optional insurance. Instead the cost of insuring the item will be built into the shipping/handling costs for each item - so all purchases (foreign and domestic) will be automatically insured.  You will notice an increase in our shipping prices to reflect this change as it costs a minimum of $1.30 to insure a shipment. eBay feels that all shipments should be insured against loss to help provide a better buyer experience and we agree that buyers should be able to expect compensation if a package is lost or damaged.   We do ask that buyers help us keep our shipping costs low by cooperating with filing insurance claims in the event of loss or damage.
