"L@@K"  VINTAGE REMINGTON TYPEWRITER W/CASE  8-8-1931

THIS REMINGTON PORTABLE v353130 TYPEWRITER, PICA,WAS BOUGHT NEW ON 8/8/1931.  THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THIS WAS 65.00.  IT WAS PURCHASED THROUGH 'AMERICAN WRITING MACHINE CO.', IN CINCINNATI, OHIO. 

THE TYPEWRITER ITSELF HAS SOME AGE TO IT.  THE CASE I BELIEVE IS LEATHER AND THE HANDLE IS MADE OF A THICK LEATHER BELT LIKE PIECE.  THE LOCK STILL WORKS GREAT TO CLOSE AND CARRY WITH THE HANDLE.  THE KEYS ARE ALL BEAUTIFULLY THERE, IN GREAT WORKING CONDITION.  I AM UNSURE OF HOW WELL THIS TYPEWRITER WORKS.  HOWEVER, IT DOES SEEM TO STILL WORK FINE WHEN I HAVE TYPED ON IT.  THE RIBBON IS OLD AS WELL.  THERE IS A BLACK CLEANING BRUSH FOR THIS TYPEWRITER THAT IS ORIGINAL AS WELL.  ( I BELIEVE IT CAME WITH THE TYPEWRITER WHEN PURCHASED ) IT IS ATTACHED TO THE BACK OF THE CASE IN ITS OWN SLOT.  I HAVE NOT CLEANED THIS TYPEWRITER DUE TO I AM NOT EXPERIENCE WITH THE PROPER CLEANING METHOD FOR THIS.  I DID WIPE IT DOWN WITH A CLOTH ON THE OUTSIDE.
