Here is a Gorgeous Vintage and Very Large Lithograph, on a nice heavier off white wove stock titled “Gebirgsfrühling” (Translates from German: Spring in the Mountains), as appears lower right corner in the margin, by the listed artist ‘Ludwig von Senger’, (German, 1873-1937) whose printed signature appears lower left in the image, and whose printed name appears lower left under the image. ‘Copyright 1928 by Kupfer & Hermann in Berlin’, as appears printed lower left in image area, and whose printed logo ‘Copyright (in circle) K & H 19 B 28’ appears to the left of it. ‘Kupfer & Herrmann, Kunstverlag, Berlin’, as appears printed lower right under the image. ‘Spring in the Mountains’, appears hand written in pencil lower right in the margin along with inventory info ‘P.27’ and also to the right of it ‘T.AA’. ‘Printed in Germany’, as appears printed lower middle in the margin near the edge. ‘Made in Germany’, as appears stamped lower middle on the back. The Litho is in Fair Rare+ condition for its age, with No Color Fade. The Litho has been in a drawer amongst other prints since it was purchased by the Meibohm family and has not seen the light-of-day in all that time. The size with margins is 29.75 x 41-3/8, Image size is 26-3/8 x 35.5. One larger tear about 6.25” lower middle right which extends from the bottom edge up through the image area about 3-7/8”, which is repaired from behind with archival tape for protection and doesn’t show too bad in the image area at all and once framed up, you’d barely even see it, it’s sort of tough to see (see pic). There are about 4 very small margin edge tears which are also repaired with archival tape. Slight topical soiling from age (kind of grubby), from being in a drawer amongst other prints, etching & engravings. Some creasing in the outer margin areas, and slight creasing in the image area but is not too noticeable in the image area. This Vintage Lithograph Has Never Been Framed.

Due to the Vintage/Antique nature of MOST of our items, at our discretion we ship items flat or in heavy-duty tubes and they are securely & safely packed with each item wrapped in packing paper or archival glassine, then secured in between oversized cardboard or rolled in a heavy duty tube, then bubble-wrap is added, as per the item's specifications. Smaller items (like postcards & small prints) will also be securely & safely packed with each item wrapped in packing paper or archival glassine, then secured in between oversized cardboard, then shipped in a bubble-lined envelope.
