                      Rare to the market is the Lladro figurine - Menina , Lady of the Spanish Court. This marvelous figurine for those who don't know is a very large for a Lladro figure measuring 23 " tall and 15" wide at base . Purchased in October 2005 just after Hurricane Katrina hit in New Orleans at the Bailey Banks & Biddle store in which Jose Lladro was present to personally sign each item sold only on that day in New Orleans. An incredible work of art to say the least Menina was carefully modeled after the Spanish court dress for a "Maid Of Honor" in the 1600's era of Spain's Royalty. With incredible hand painting and fine detail this is one of the most sought after of all Lladro items on the market today and with a limited edition of only 1000 produced  this has a low production number of 236.  Also included is the original wooden base and amazing shipping container with numerous precision supports system that allows this to be shipped safely to you. Just to be certain we will double box for security for the lucky winner of this item at  no extra   charge .

Finding or purchasing one of these Menina's is no easy task and to be signed by one of the Lladro founders with a low number and at auction below market I would say is very rare indeed and a super opportunity to own one of these fabulous works by Lladro. At the factory in Valencia Spain you may purchase one of these for the price of $ 4,800.00 - unsigned by any founder. Rarely you will find one at the issue price of $3,850.00 with no room to bargain , even the official LLadro guide shows no less than this on an after market sale.
