TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS :

This Laguiole folding knife is hand crafted according to strict specifications :

440 stainless steel blade : this steel, is perfect for a folding knife. It features a high percentage of carbon (for a sharp cutting edge) and chrome (to prevent it from rusting). It is commonly used among all european cutlers. 

Laguiole engraved on the blade. and the traditionnal beeon the edge of the knife.

Juniper wood handle with two forged stainless steel bolsters : the 2 bolsters guarantee the strenght of the handle. These are forged. The buffalo horn is naturally black. Depending upon the horn, it can feature some brown or white stripes.

It also feature the shepard's cross on the handle.

 

The Juniper wood is a very rare wood, it smells like pepper. Each knife is unique.
