In 1996, Lanz of Salzburg became part of the EILEEN WEST collection of sleepwear brands.

Eileen West is an award-winning San Francisco based designer of classic intimate apparel, dresses, and quality products for the home. She is the President and Co-Founder of the EILEEN WEST company, which she and her partner, Laney Thornton, launched twenty seven years ago with their first venture, an all-cotton sportswear collection. In 1978, they introduced the QUEEN ANNE'S LACE sleepwear collection, Eileen's couture collection of white cotton heirloom pieces and exquisite silk. The EILEEN WEST sleepwear collection was introduced soon afterward, and is known and sought after for its romantic style, original prints, luxurious comfort, and high quality.

Eileen West draws her inspiration from the dramatic coastlines, crisp blue skies, and varying lights of Northern California, and the result has been her distinctive signature florals, known for their clear colors and painterly technique. This year alone, the company has developed over 200 prints. Now Eileen West brings her signature style to the Lanz of Salzburg collection, which she personally designs.
