Here is a rare collectable blue sapphire and diamond cluster ring with a gorgeous briolette cut blue sapphire, you can not find such a unique piece anywhere else and I am going to sell it to the highest bidder no matter the final price!  "A little history and background"  I was appointed by this collector of rare historical jewelry to sell portions of his collections to test the fair market value of his pieces. This stately gentleman now living in London has sent me some of this collection to sell here in the USA because we have determined the Ebay market to be stronger in the USA however everyone is invited to bid as I ship world-wide which is a speciality of mine. This collection spans 3 centuries and includes many styles. The items are all made of 22k 18k & 14K gold, handmade with all genuine gemstones. As you can see the handmade Indian designs are quite unique and heavily garnished with gems. Description: Next on the auction block for your consideration is this 18.6 carat blue sapphire and diamond cluster ring. Don't miss this high quality sapphire piece, the pictures show how nice it is, if you love blue sapphires and elegant design then you need to add this one to your collection. The ring contains 80 accent diamonds (1.6 carat) and graded at "I" color and "SI" clarity so you know they are nice sparkling diamonds. The diamonds are set into an elegant pattern of lightly tarnished silver for a striking two tone look. The blue sapphire cabochon measures 10X24mm and weighs 17 carats, the color is opaque navy blue and it is bezel set into 18k yellow gold. The blue sapphire is checkerboard faceted on the top for a fancy look, this long shape is very elegant. The ring contains 18.6 carats of genuine earth mined stones and the ring shank is solid 18k yellow gold and marked as such on the inside. The head measures 21x36mm at the design so it is a long slimming design that looks fabulous on your finger. This is a size 8.5 and weighs 6.8 grams of 18k yellow gold.
