ANTIQUE REPEATING CARRIAGE CLOCK C

A superb quality French made carriage clock Circa 1890 of a much larger and important size than is normally seen. Estate fresh to the market in nice original unrestored condition.
(pictured next to a "normal" size carriage clock - for sale in separate listing, only used for scale purposes!)
The substantial Anglaise Riche style case has gilt and silvered plating for contrast and decoration. The dial is crisp and white enamel and looks excellent and unmarked. Breguet style blued steel moon hands compliment the dial.
The platform escapement is a nice quality jewelled lever escapement and looks original to the clock. 8 day hour and half hour striking with repeat button for striking at will.
The case has chanel fluted pillars and a nice solid base with four shaped feet, a handsome looking clock! Although the clock is unrestored, it is running sweetly as is, a service would be welcome in due course. Supplied with winding key. No Reserve sale - just in time for the Holidays!!!! Clock looks to have been well looked after, and is ready for a new owner! Any Questions?
