Direct from London, England, another fabulous antique English oak bench…having superb barley twist legs AND BARLEY TWIST STRETCHERS, A DEFINITIVE SIGN OF QUALITY CONSTRUCTION.  The bench is venerable English style, with its ORIGINAL RUSH SEAT and a classic piece that is very hard to find in today’s market!!!

 

MEASUREMENTS:

20 ½”H x 21 ¼” x 14 ¾”.

 

All of my antiques are hand selected from premier European shippers.  I do not purchase in bulk, but prefer to individually purchase the items, with each piece selected for its unique characteristics and quality.

 

CONDITION:

  The bench is in good condition, structurally sound and visually appealing with normal signs of age and use, scratches, dings, and other imperfections. 

It is definitely suitable for use, the rush seat is secure with few broken strands and some age spotting as to be expected.  I always provide multiple photos and written information, and I encourage you to email me with any questions you might have prior to bidding. Please keep in mind antique furniture should be purchased for its uniqueness, higher quality material and craftsmanship and antique patina, charm and character.
