Overview & Area: Large lithograph map of showing an area around Pretoria and Swaziland in South Africa on the left part of the map, and several smaller maps on the right part.

The large part of the map shows also the areas (parts) of the Orange Free State, Tonga Land, Zulu Land, Natal, Portugese East Africa, Rhodesia, Khama Country,... Very detailed with towns, rivers, mountains, railways, regions, etc. Very interesting names!

The smaller maps are: World, Africa, Cape Town and Environs, Environs of Johannesburg, Cape Town, South Africa with inset of Durban and Port Natal.

With 3 pages of interesting text pasted on verso. Also pasted on verso is the title of the map!

This map is an guaranteed original map, printed and published in London around 1899!

Size: printed area approx.: 21.05" x 33.45" Inches; 53,5 x 85 cm

Condition: Excellent dark and clear print! Strengthened on verso along folds. Splits, cracks and some missing areas along folds! With some uneven age-toning and soiling.
In very attractive and decorative antiquarian condition! => Have a look at the photos for more detail!
