| This is one of MANY Large LOTS of VINTAGE CHRISTMAS SEALS/STICKERS and tags that I will be offering this weekend and in the upcoming weeks. You will receive just what is shown...2 VINTAGE RED PACKAGES OF CHRISTMAS SEALS, or STICKERS..1 is labeled as a "MAMMOTH ASSORTMENT, CHRISTMAS GIFT DRESSINGS 5cents". This is entirely red with the old glycene window that is in EXCELLENT, un-broken condition! Amazing for this old of a paper item. The artwork is just lovely, as well! This holds approx. 38 vintage seals, with snowmen, religious scenes, Santas, Poinsettias, candles, the cutest Puppies with Red Bows and More!
The second envelope is so pretty! Done in a deep Red on the front with a thin cellophane type window, also in EXCELLENT CONDITION, it features large pictures of Bells, Bows & Holly. Someone stuck a candle sticker on the top, but still a great decorative envelope! These "gift dressings" were made by "KRESS", a very popular name in Vintage Cards, Gift Wrap and Tags, as you collectors out there know. Inside you will find approx. 6 pages of 10 stickers each for a total of 60 stickers! They are bright and beautifully created Holiday Scenes with Snowmen, Bells, Candle, Ornaments, Santas, Footballs/holly and more! Unfortunately, all pages are stuck together from being stored somewhere with high humidity. I've been told that these are quite simple to "steam" apart, but I have not tried it as yet. There is a lovely, old Christmas Package Label inside, stuck to the back of the envelope. This may come out with "steam" as well.
Both envelopes are wonderful display pieces in their own right, but having the lot of at least 98 seals with them, makes them all the more collectible!
