LARGE OVAL RARE JADE GREEN ROOKWOOD FLOWER FROG. THIS IS JUST A LOVELY PIECE OF ROOKWOOD POTTERY, ELEGANT IN DESIGN AND WITH THAT HI GLOSS JADE GREEN GLAZE IT IS REALLY BEAUTIFUL. IT HAS 15 HOLES FOR FLOWERS. ON THE VERY TOP IN THE SECOND PHOTO YOU CAN SEE SOMETHING THAT MIGHT BE A SMALL IMPERFECTION BUT I DID NOT WANT TO ATTEMPT TO CLEAN IT. IT MAY COME OFF BUT IT IS SO SMALL IT DIDN'T COME TO MY ATTENTION UNTIL I WAS DOING THIS PHOTOGRAPH AND THE LISTING.
IT IS LARGE. IT MEASURES 5.25" IN LENGTH AND IS 2.75" WIDE. IT IS 1.75" HIGH. YOU CAN SEE A WHITE ONE IN THE BULL BOOK ON PAGE 14. ON THE BOTTOM THERE IS THE TYPICAL ROOKWOOD POTTERY LOGO OF FLAMES AND THEN THE ROMAN NUMBERALS FOR 1917 (XVII) THERE IS ALSO IMPRESSED INTO THE BASE THE NUMBER 2612. THERE ARE 4 SMALL INDENTATIONS FOR WATER FLOW.
