LATE 1940'S JOHNNY GRUELLE RADDEDY ANDY DOLL, SO CUTE!

We are pleased to offer for auction this week this adorable late 1940's Raggedy Andy doll made by Johnny Gruelle for Georgene Novelties. The doll measures 15 inches tall and is all cloth with black button eyes, painted features and yarn hair. He is in good condition but has been well loved over the years. There is some staining to the cloth body especially on his left hand. His tag is still attached on his body and his yarn hair...while a tad faded with time is still all present. His painted features are still very vibrant and button eyes intact. He is wearing his original outfit (missing his hat) that has an usual pattern on the shirt. He is missing one of his white buttons (and there is a small hole where that button originally was). His back two button snap closure is present...but bottom snap has detached from the back fabric and there is a small hole in that area. Andy comes to you from a SMOKE FREE home and has great character and would be a welcome addition to any collection....ENJOY!
