Importance
of a Soap Dish
Handmade
soap contains all its natural glycerin. Because it has no harsh
chemicals and other preservatives, handmade soap is not as hard
as mass-produced bars which has had the glycerin removed. However,
natural soap can last just as long as commercial soap if you remember
not to let the bar sit in water for long periods. To prevent the
soap from dissolving quickly, a good soap dish is important. Use
wooden ones with grooves or slots at the base, to allow excess water
to drain from the bar. If you don’t use a dish, at least try
standing the soap on edge after use, so the least amount of surface
is in contact with any puddles.

 Cleanse
Dermatologists stress the importance of cleaning your skin with
