This item is a tan, quality,, authentically HAND SIGNED bookplate by legendary poet LAWRENCE FERLINGHETTI, in blue ink. We mailed this directly to the poet for signing!

Lawrence Ferlinghetti (born March 24, 1919) is an American poet, painter, liberal activist, and the co-founder of City Lights Booksellers & Publishers. Author of poetry, translations, fiction, theatre, art criticism, and film narration, he is best known for A Coney Island of the Mind (New York: New Directions, 1958), a collection of poems that has been translated into nine languages, with sales of over 1 million copies.

 This is very suitable to be placed in the front of a book (though we don't recommend "adhering" ANY bookplate to a book), either by, or about the stated personality. This would as well, be suitable for framing with a photograph or document relating to the stated personality, or displayed by itself. These are great collectibles, and make great gifts!
