Audio quality assessment technology LCC's audio quality assessment module, called Auryst (aural analyst) assesses acceptable voice quality measurements in both digital and analog wireless systems based on validated user audio perception. The module measures wireless network voice quality as it would be perceived by the average listener. The module generates audio quality scores (AQS) on a scale of 1 to 5 that are highly correlated (>95%) to known differential MOS (DMOS) data validated by Comsat Laboratories, which performs listener evaluations.
