Following their crucial 66 song discography Too Short To Ignore 1991-1998 (also released on Life Is Abuse), Germany's Le Scrawl return with this latest EP of grindcore/ska/jazz scramble, sixteen minutes and thirteen songs of glorious genre mashing blast. Just imagine Naked City and Napalm Death taking hard right turns into joyous ska raveups complete with horns and keyboards, super political grindpunk one second and f***ed lounge groove the next, all deadpan delivery and amazingly complex and terminally wacky!
REVIEW FROM DAREDEVIL: I was laughing my ass off when I heard this CD the first time, cause I´ve NEVER heard something like this. A friend of mine told me once that there is a band playing Ska-Grind and I told him to stop bullsh***ing me...now...about a year later I receive this CD and it´s true, Le Scrawl mixing Grind, Ska, Lounge and a little bit of Jazz together and I must say it sounds fantastic. This is original for sure and funny as hell...you all should check out "Eager To Please" and I promise you that you´ve never heard something like this...damn...I have to listen to this CD again, cause I still can´t believe this...hahaha...Want new music? Here you go!!!!
