Lenox Collection Centerpiece Footed
Bowl: Aquarius
Lenox China
Aquarius Collection is a versatile pattern that will work
with a wide range of decors.
Lenox, Inc. was
founded in 1906. The company's defining moment arrived in
1918 when President Woodrow Wilson asked Lenox, Inc. to
produce china for the White House, a real coup since most of
the previous White House residents had chosen French-made
Limoges patterns, this was a first for an American ceramics
company.
This piece has all the elegance that Lenox is
known for. The scroll and dolphin base
is topped by a shell like bowl that is graced with an
elegant 24K gold rim. This pattern was retired in 1994
(and re-issued in a limited series of 5000 pcs in 2005).
This centerpiece measures 12" long x 6.5" wide x 6.75" tall.
In excellent condition with no chips, no cracks, no crazing.
