This is a great vintage European style LGB starter set.  This was purchased from an older collector in the late 1970's-and it was old at that time.  IT WILL NOT COME WITH A TRANSFORMER. However, it will come in the original box with a circle of LGB track and the people figures that are shown. It has been in storage for the last  25 years and before that was only run at the holidays and always indoors.  On the box it is listed as LEHMANN GROSS-BAIN 20302. The original price tag of $190.00 is on the side of the box from Marshall Fields & Co.. On the side it also states Made in West Germany by Lehmann.
The box does show it age and wear. On the underside of the electric locomotive is Made in Western Germany by Lehmann 2034 on the side of the engine is LbM-St.E E1. The two cars are both marked on the undercarriage as Made in Western Germany for Lehmann.  The first passenger car is marked on the side with a number 2 and the other one is marked on the side number 3.  Everything is in very good condition with no visible signs of damage-maybe very slight wear.  Because of the tracks age you may want to clean the rails.  This is sold AS IS so please ask any questions that you may have.  I can't be sure that the passenger cars are actually from the same collection. The number 3 one looks as if it does not belong with number 2 ?  But #2 does look to belong to the locomotive. This is how they were purchased so very many years ago and this is how they will be sold.  I know that this will be a great addition to any LGB collection. Buyer to pay shipping and handling charges.
