62-page August 1, 1969 number of LIFE Magazine, with cover story on Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy and the fatal accident at Dyke Bridge at Chappaquiddick Island.

Subjects of other articles include:  astronauts' families watching Apollo moonshot;  America's threatened wild lands, photographed by Grey Villet;  Vietnam War black market;  TV censorship;  New Orleans' Paine house.

Text pages are securely bound and generally clean with bent upper corners.  Pp. 13-19 [Kennedy article] has insect wear within an inch of the lower three inches of the spine and some minor wear along the lower edges.  Covers are mildly soiled with light general edgwear,  creased upper front corners, and an address label.
