You're bidding not only on just the ultra-RARE and much de$ired Japanese Polydor release Henry Mancini/London Symphony Orchestra Original Soundtrack of the Tobe Hooper/John Dykstra Science Fiction/Horror masterpiece L I F E F O R C E, but also as a bonus the movie L I F E F O R C E on Japanese Laserdisc as well!
For those uninitiated L I F E F O R C E was based on a book by Colin Wilson entitled, "The Space Vampires" and even though some of the film differs greatly from the book essentially it is a story about a predatory- read that vampiric -extraterrestrial race of malevolent gargoyle-like space vampires that suck the life-energy- the lifeforce -out of whole planets and their inhabitants and migrate world to world all the while draining them dry as they go along. British authorities attempt to capture a mysterious beautiful, and naked, alien woman who appears responsible. How's that for a concept?

If you think that Henry Mancini only did soundtracks for the Blake Edwards/Peter Sellers PINK PANTHER series or TV programs such as MR. LUCKY and PETER GUNN. boy will you ever be surprised! Bear in mind that Mr. Mancini "ghost wrote" for Joseph Gersenson some of the music used in the 1950s for Universal Pictures' Sci-Fi and Horror films among them: "CREATURE FROM THE BLACK LAGOON", "TARANTULA", "IT CAME FROM OUTER SPACE", "THIS ISLAND EARTH", and even,"ABBOTT AND COSTELLO GO TO MARS"(!), so the subject matter wasn't entirely, how you say, alien to him.
The L I F E F O R C E Soundtrack- Mancini aided by the London Symphony Orchestra, composed a score that has elements not only of John Williams' STAR WARS music, but also elements of Beethoven, Bruckner, Mahler, and Wagner. The main theme is a vigorous, sinister scherzo along the lines of the scherzo in Beethoven's Ninth Symphony. The rest is very bold symphonic film scoring at its best.
