What a Super Oil Lamp this is. Never have I had or even seen a European Majolica Oil Lamp of this enormity. I think this could be described as a Banquet Lamp. Two very knowledgeable collectors of French Antiques both attributed the workmanship to  Galle Pottery. Again this is just an attribution and Lamp could be a Limoge Majolica Oil Lamp. It is quite unusual to find this size Oil Lamp in the condition this is in which is just about perfect with no damages or restoration, and I blacklighted the entire lamp. The Lady Figure is of the highest quality and unfortunately I found no signatures on the Lamp or Brass Font. The hand molded Floral around the breath of the body of the Lamp seems to be in perfect condition however there might be a fraction of damage to a flower but I have not found it. This Giant work of Art in Pottery has magnificent glaze all around with scrafitto work and pleasing glazing to the entire Oil Lamp. Again this Lamp stands an enormous 43.5" tall and to my knowledge everything works and functions properly. I date this Lamp as late 19th Century and for sure you will not find a similar lamp in the marketplace..The pictures do some of the speaking but one must really see the detail up close and personal..
