Description: You are bidding on a stunning porcelain Cobalt Blue/Roses Swirl Floral Oyster Plate.  This oyster plate is NEW and was modeled after the vintage oyster plates that were very popular collectible items in 19^th century Victorian homes.  (The back of the plate is marked “Limoges”)  This gorgeous piece with an intricate swirl design features 5 wells, each of which has a cluster of bright pink roses enhanced with abundant floral gold accents.  You may be able to see on the picture that the wells areas of this oyster plate have a very unusual “pleated” sculpted surface, which nicely flows into the overall swirl design of this spectacular piece.  The beautiful gold-trimmed scalloped edges in cobalt blue color create a striking contrast with the pink roses and snow-white background of this plate, which adds to its elegance and beauty.  It measures approximately 9.5” in diameter.  This oyster plate will be a spectacular display item on a hutch or in the curio cabinet and will be a wonderful addition to your porcelain collection.   

This is a brand new item, but I had to open its box to take a picture and to add more shipping material to secure the plate for shipment.
