Description: You are bidding on a gorgeous decorative porcelain Triangle-Shaped Oyster Plate with Sea Creatures.  This oyster plate is NEW and was modeled after the vintage oyster plates that were very popular collectible items in 19^th century Victorian homes.  (The back of the plate is marked “Limoges”)  This stunning piece is designed in a very unusual triangle shape and has 5 wells with an elegant, light gold trim that are shaped like sea shells, each of which features different hand-painted sea creatures.  The plate looks very delicate due to a nice combination of its pastel colors, particularly a slight hue of blue at the bottom of the wells, which gradually flows into the antique white background.  The edges of this stunning piece are accented with clusters of dainty pink and blue flowers, which are nicely incorporated into the overall design. The plate measures approximately 9.5” x 7.5” (at the longest/widest parts of the triangle).  Its unusual triangle shape makes it a truly unique collector’s item.  This oyster plate will be a spectacular display item on a hutch or in the curio cabinet.  It will complement your beach/lake house décor and will be a wonderful addition to any nautical theme interior.
