What is Hoodia? Scientific studies have confirmed the ability of hoodia to suppress appetite, helping obese people lower dietary calorie intake to a degree that promotes weight loss. Controlled clinical and laboratory experiments have shown subjects restrict there calorie intake in their diet when hoodia is taken orally. Some experiments have involved elaborate studies where obese people have taken hoodia in a controlled metabolic environment; and they have been able to reduce personal calorie intake by 1,000 calories per day.

HOODIA: suppression of hunger and a potential increase in metabolism of food. The plant has been known to assist people in chopping out some major caloric intake throughout the day while still allowing enough food intake to maintain good health. This particular combination is important for anyone who wants to lose weight without losing health along the way.
ACAI: Analysis reveals that Acai pulp contains: A remarkable concentration of antioxidants, to help combat premature aging, with 10-30 times the anthocyanins (purple colored antioxidants) of red wine. A synergy of monounsaturated (healthy) fats, dietary fiber and phytosterols, to help promote cardiovascular system and digestive tract health. An almost perfect essential amino acid complex in conjunction with valuable trace minerals, vital to proper muscle contraction and regeneration.
Salmon: is a popular food. Consuming salmon is considered to be reasonably healthy due to the fish's high protein and low fat levels and to its high Omega-3 fatty acids content. Salmon, contains high amounts of protein and the powerful antioxidant, coenzyme Q-10. May help with wrinkles and anti-aging.
Flaxseed: Several studies, some conducted in people, suggest that flaxseed products (or agents contained in them) may help to keep the heart and cardiovascular system healthy. Flaxseed products may lower cholesterol levels, help control blood pressure, and may reduce the buildup of plaque in arteries.
Alfalfa: has been used for thousands of years in many parts of the world, as a source of food for people and livestock and as a medicinal herb. It is probably more useful as a source of easily accessible nutrients than as a medicinal herb. Alfalfa is an excellent source of most vitamins, including vitamins A, D, E, and K. Vitamin K is critical in blood clotting, so alfalfa may have some use in improving clotting. It also contains trace minerals such as calcium, magnesium, iron, and potassium. Alfalfa is also higher in protein than many other plant foods. May also help lower colesterol. Traditional Chinese healers use alfalfa leaves to cleanse the digestive system and to rid the bladder of stones.
SOY: A complete protein is one that contains significant amounts of all the essential amino acids that must be provided to the human body because of the body's inability to synthesize them. However, the phrase complete protein can be a bit misleading since proteins vary in their protein. May also as part of a diet low in saturated fat and cholesterol, may reduce the risk of heart disease.
GREEN TEA: Green tea is produced from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis, or tea plant. Oolong and black tea are also produced from the plant, but are processed and oxidized in different manners. Of the three, green tea contains the highest levels of polyphenols, the substance that is believed to be beneficial in may help in protecting against both cancer and atherosclerosis.
Wheat Grass: Proponents of wheatgrass use claims that regular ingestion of the plant can improve the digestive system, prevent cancer, diabetes and heart disease, cure constipation, detoxify heavy metals from the bloodstream, cleanse the liver, prevent hair loss and help to make menopause more manageable. There is, however, no medical nor scientific evidence to support these claims, although there is a great deal of anecdotal evidence to that effect.
Garlic: Used as both food and medicine in many cultures for thousands of years, dating as far back as the time that the Egyptian pyramids were built. Garlic is claimed to help prevent heart disease, including atherosclerosis, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, and to improve the immune system. Garlic may also protect against cancer. However a rigorous, NIH-funded clinical trial published by the "Archives of Internal Medicine", on 26 February 2007, found that consumption of garlic, in any form, did not reduce cholesterol levels in patients with moderately high levels.
Cayenne: Today cayenne is used worldwide to treat a variety of health conditions, including weak digestion, chronic pain, shingles, heart disease, sore throats, headaches, high cholesterol levels, poor circulation, and toothache.Cayenne can be an effective remedy for relieving congestion and coughs. It acts to thin mucus, thus improving the flow of body fluids. It is also used to boost energy and relieve stress-related fatigue and depression. Late in the 1990s, British journals reported that people taking cayenne daily increased their fat metabolism and had decreased appetites.
ALPHA LIPOIC ACID: A sulphur-containing antioxidant, which occurs naturally in small amounts in foods such as broccoli, spinach, yeast, and beef. In addition to being an antioxidant, it also acts as a coenzyme in energy production. ALA is available, usually with alpha L-carnitene, in dietary supplements, which are claimed to prevent or delay age-related diseases, and reduce exercise-induced oxidative stress.
DMAE: antioxidant and a precursor of the neurotransmitter Acetycholine. Acetycholine is responsible for feelings of well-being and relaxation.
